ABOUT SENTINEL

Advisors who have done the work inside the building

Sentinel Health Advisory Group is a behavioral health compliance and operations advisory firm serving skilled nursing, assisted living, post-acute providers, and primary providers.

WHO WE ARE

Behavioral health is an operations problem before it is a clinical one

Most facilities already have residents with significant behavioral health needs. What they lack is the structure around those needs: a clinician embedded in the interdisciplinary team, documentation that reflects the acuity, a GDR program that withstands scrutiny, and a billing workflow that captures the revenue Medicare already permits.

Sentinel was founded to close that gap. We work with administrators, directors of nursing, MDS coordinators, and ownership groups to design behavioral health programs that hold up under survey, support the resident, and pay for themselves.

We are advisors, not a clinical staffing agency. The clinician belongs to you and so does the liability, the documentation, and the revenue. Our job is to make sure all three are working in your favor.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Four commitments in every engagement

Clinically grounded

Our recommendations come from people who have sat in IDT meetings, written the notes, and answered surveyor questions.

Exceptional Programs from people who have built behavioral health systems

We model conservative revenue and name the costs. A program that fails its pro forma gets cut within a year.

Regulation first

Every workflow we design traces back to a citation, a manual section, or a payer rule and never to convention.

Built to be handed off

Documentation, training, and ownership transfer to your team as the standard end state of every engagement.
